Bird
Bird found herself catapulted
into the wacky world of alt-porn three years ago, when the Powers That Be at
Supercult.com found some
of her self-portraits online, and asked her to be their first model to take her
own photos. She had a ton of fun doing this, and in time was working for other
sites, slowly finding her way onto EroticBPM.com,
ThatStrangeGirl.com,
NaughtyGoth.com, NakkidNerds.com, ManicJane.com,
and IShotMyself.com.
(And she’s recently been accepted as part of the lovely team at VegPorn.com,
which excites her to no end!) However, as much as she sometimes enjoys preening
and purring in front of the camera, Bird (who is really a cat) most loves taking
pictures of other women. Throughout her work for the above fabulous sites, she's
often worked with other models, both doing couples shoots and taking gazillions
of solo sets for them. Bird has worked with models who are already “established,”
but also finds that it's really fun to introduce her beautiful lady-friends
to the fun and often empowering world of alt-porn.
Thus it was that, a few months ago, the lovely Lux Nightmare of ThatStrangeGirl.com agreed to sponsor Bird in starting her own site: ThatBirdsNest.com! That Bird's Nest is really where the heart of Bird’s photography and erotica work lies. The site is a tribute to the women she loves, and in her work there, she seeks to show them how gorgeous they are, inside and out. Bird keeps the site as cheap-cheap-cheap as possible, and the free community boards are sassy, raunchy, silly, and even often (gasp!) thought-provoking. That Bird's Nest differs from the average alt-porn site in that Bird has gathered together only women who are actually a part of her life, or in some way connected to her heart. You’ll recognize a few alt-porn superstars (and several past Hotpunkgirls!), but many of the lovely ladies actually debuted on That Bird's Nest. The site is an intricate, close-knit community of women who love themselves and each other: friends, lovers, co-workers -- you name it. (And baby, you can bet when they’re all together, they play a mean game of Spin The Bottle!) On That Bird's Nest, you can also read pieces of memoir about the models’ sexual and personal lives, and peek into many of their online journals. It’s a place where very little is kept hidden; neither body parts, quirks, or kinky little secrets.
Besides naked ladies and helping them see how beautiful they are, Bird loves nothing more than kitty cats, books (books, books, books) and cuddling for hours on end. Oh yes, and being scratched until she bleeds...juuust a little!
