Brooke
TTwenty-year-old
abstract-minded artist Brooke lives a spontaneous life sparked by the fuel of
an ever-fluid imagination, running an online art and knick-knack shop called
Archaic Expression
with her boyfriend KirE. They sell things like giant posters,
prints, stickers,
buttons,
journals,
lunchboxes,
t-shirts,
CDs,
clocks,
and greeting cards.
If you're looking for stuff like rubber Scotsmen, nuclear sunglasses, or creepy,
sort-of-but-not-quite-lifelike companionship,
you'll have to find somewhere else to tickle that itch, freak.
Brooke's interests include the moon, photography, death, tarot, astral travel,
owls, blood painting, animal rights, body modification, nature, traveling, autumn,
dreams, cats, various religions, near death experiences, abandoned houses, old
graveyards, angel statues, rain, and music ranging from Celtic to Industrial,
filling in the gaps and exploring the beyond.
She didn't mention anything about polka or ragtime when we asked her, though, so maybe she totally hates that stuff. But what does she absolutely adore? The Cure, Christian Death, Joy Division, Shadows Project, Coil, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Audra, VNV Nation, Skinny Puppy, Dead Can Dance, Nick Cave, Tear Garden, Cinema Strange, P.J. Harvey, The Smiths...you know. The really up-with-people tracks!
Oddly enough, Leonard Nimoy is nowhere to be found on that list. The Hotpunkgirl.com staff is sure this is merely an oversight.
